What a nong, nong day i had....

seriously, yesterday was a jam-packed day choked with activities. i dun think i have the energy if this happens everday! haha....

11am to 1pm- My Merchandising Mathematics class. Yawnz.....by itself, the most excruciating 2 hrs of the day.

1pm to 530pm - Skipped my product development class to go shopping. Went with Beck and Claire to Marina Square. Shop and shop and shop.....Zara, Dorothy Perkins, Topshop, Novo, Pazzion, Miss Selfridge, Mango, Women's Secrets, sasa, The Makeup Store.....and more....No joke man shopping can be really tiresome....

Then luckily we met Rachel at Topshop cuz she can get us discounts! Yay! 30% somemore....woohoo so i got myself a top... see its so good to know people who know people. haha...



To rest our poor aching feet, we went to Anderson's Ice Cream to gobble on Brownies and Waffles. Yum!!!!

This is the first time we're out as a group so it was enjoyable.

Afterwards me and Beck rushed to Plaza Singapura to meet Nellie. We're interviewing her for our MM project. She used to be my classmate but she dropped out last year and went back to Triumph to work as their merchandiser! So lucky!

Talking about that i screwed up the interview. Cuz the recorded file got corrupted so we lost everything!!!! Sigh now i have to remember what she said. One hour of interview leh...how ah??? DIE!!!!

8pm to 11pm-

Rushed home cuz need to meet the girls in Zouk! Need to change and dress up!
Met estar pass him half of my cigs..........sorry ah couldnt slack with ya.....
Meeting Debs at 1030pm and i doubt i could make it. Which i didnt. So sorry Deb u had to wait so long....

Speaking of guys....i had an eye-opener. Like seriously i was never bothered by men (not much anyway) in any other clubs. But Zouk, tsk tsk, was filled with despo horney men looking for girls for a one night stand! Yucks! we were surrounded by men even when we dance so i was pretty disgusted.

And not just any normal men, but fugly men who dance to mambo badly. Like please lah dun embarrass urself can?

Me, My Hair and I.....

After a month of heeing and hawing i bucked up and carried all my guts to a nearest salon.
Worse still is im on a budget so i could not afford kimage or reds etc who charges almost $50 per snip. hello they uses golden scissors izit?

Anyway with $30 in my pocket, i left home with a heavy heart as im more than ready for an evitable outcome. My hair will come out bad. As usual. For the rest of my life.

My hair is the worse a person can ever hope for. Every strand is EITHER frizzy, curly or straight.
Like the owner, who can never make up its mind. Its every hairdresser's nightmare and every woman's hell. My hell for sure.

No matter what products i use, i can never match the silky smooth curly or straight hair i wanted. Or i can never style it the way i wanted. My mane is uncontrollable!!!

Its a life of its own so normally i would leave it alone. I can imagine its laughter whenever i cry out in angst.
Tra-la-la it says. You cant control me u stupid goon. Tra-la-la.
Oh how it mocks me!!! GrrRRR!!

Oh i've tried everything. The rebonding, the perm, the colouring, the straightening. It all doesnt work. In fact, it made my hair in a bad shape after a few months. So i stop it all.

Now seriously i dun give a shit what my hair decides what or what not to do. Im too tired to fight this long fight! haha.

nvm. in the near future when i command enough power and "mr ex-president Yusof Ishak" in my bank, i will have my own entourage of stylists, hairdressers and makeup artists. To make me look every inch like a glamour queen like i deserves. hehe....

BTW- dun u juz hate it when these hairdressers try to psycho u buy hair products that costs OTT? I mean seriously, $30 for a shampoo? are u kidding? ....

the thai restaurant is located beside the KFC/Pizza Hut near Yishun Sec! Its not super-duper yummy but its really cheap!
its like one plate of fried kang-kong is only $3! i recommend the fried sotong and oat prawns. Gosh just thinking about it makes me drool......
oh the service is fast and friendly. And u'll ALWAYS get a discount there! Really!!! haha every single time.... e.g if my bill is $25.50, the guy will discount till $22 or something like that.

Chong Pang is too far from my hse. moreover the shops there closes really early. So i have to go 900 plus there eat which sucks cuz the food sucks. Period! Now i wish i live in AMK or Toa Payoh or something. Its the land where you'll never go hungry!

Oh and im looking forward to our Girls' Nite Out thingy this Wed. Hah it'll be my virgin tour to Zouk so u guys gotta look out for me.
And im not drinking k! I gotta be sober.

Yes its unbelievable that im 21+ and never been to Zouk.

Not looking forward to the pushing of sweaty bodies that reek of booze and tobacco though.
That is wat put me off clubbing in the first place. But this time around i shall only be in the company of good friends and will enjoy myself nonetheless.

The Hunt is ON!!!!!

ProFashion inc (my groupmates..haha) went raffles city mrt yesterday to do research for our corporate to after 5 collection. So we took random pix of all these office ladies. funny most of them look so alike all the time! AKA BORING!

haha they didnt even know we shot them! we had to act like the camera is spoilt or take each other etc. But it was fun you know....the thrill of getting caught!

We took a lil rest after that so Beck and me sat together while the rest went on. Then a lady approached us and said "Hi im a reporter from Cleo. Is it okay to ask u guys some qns and take a picture of u guys after that?"

Wah lao i tell u i was shocked! Cuz u know why? We thought she saw us spying on others and approached to reprimand us or something! The last thing on earth i would suspect is she being a reporter.

Funny we were spying on others while she, spying on us! haha...

i was unsure on whether to do her questionnaire. so the question was "What do u think of women who apply their makeup outdoors?"

hmmm. me being the kaypoh and very open-minded person, i shout out all the REASONABLE opinions i could give. haha...maybe i wouldnt sound so openly critical or cynic. Cuz i myself rarely (even rarer than the Blue moon) wear makeup. maybe im not that vain. but im picking it up. still the apprentice. Oh watever.....

finally got a simple skin to work with....the above image is the final illustration for one of my assignmnent. Its all done in photoshop.

Its a shoe brand which i named Bait. Theme was mermaid. Blah blah u know how mermaids will want a great pair of shoes once they have legs blah blah. You get the geist.

i like my concept. i gotta admit it look like a Chanel advert. Ah poof who cares. Im disappointed that my black pump logo was too dark thus didnt stand out. moreover it was too small...sigh...

im dissatisfied with my work this semester. i always know im better than this. i got a wake-up call when Naz mentioned that i wasn't a "last-min-work" person last year so wat happened to me now?
i was shocked i couldnt answer straight. Told her i got lazy. I know thats not the answer. well not most of it. maybe im sad. no not cuz of school. im very happy with sch. maybe its something else...maybe i got lonely and desolated....u know lah always no time for a social life will push ur buttons.
i have to weigh the consequences if i go meet my bf/friends. Add work and lack of sleep will give u a LAZY equation. Or something like that.

Oh gosh what i miss most of all is a GREAT DATE. i yearn for a "Great Date"....sigh....we are hitting a downward spiral and he dun even know it.
And gosh i believe i caused it!

Here's a tribute to group Profashion.

Im really proud of us as a quartet. We work so well together and produced really fantabulous. works for our group projects. I love that we have such fresh original ideas all the time! Who can mix fun and stress at the same time huh?

All in all i LOVE LOVE LOVE my team! haha... So DAMN DAMN proud of us!! Im so lucky to have talented people who work towards the same vision.

This is the paperdoll we made for Fashion forecast. One of our proudest work yet. It was damn tedious and expensive to make yet it was so much fun when we made it. U can actually take out the dress from the sides and velcro it to the figurine in the middle. Very very fun!!!

im really upset i couldnt keep it for my own...haha...but we unanimously agree to let the teacher keep it at all cost! Lest we catfight! Meow!!!

Hah so i catched Superman over the weekends wif me smoking socialites and here my take on that movie.

* First of all, Kate Bostworth just PLAIN sucks. Her acting is just too PLAIN. Her wadrobe is too PLAIN. Her expressions looked PLAIN without the "L". she has no good vibe lah. Maybe she's just lucky to get it. Just as lucky as to steal Orlando bloom right under my nose. Hmph!

* Kitty (Parker Posey) rock my socks! She is soo funny she dun have to say anything and i'll still find her funny! haha. Look out for her other role as a bitchy villian in 'Josie and the Pussycats'.

* How dumb can people get (especially Reporters for goodness sake) that Superman is right under their noses. It goes to show that ALL of them should be SACKED!!!! If i work there i would have guessed it right away.
Then i will corner him and bribe him. Terms and conditions? He has to be my Fuck Buddy! haha...and i'll advice him on contraceptions. I dun want no BABY even though it is Superman's and even though it have freakish powers. NO THANK YOU! Fuck and no baggage. Thats why its called Fuck Buddy! haha sorry i digress....

Talking abt that, how the hell did Lois Lane get so lucky as to bunk him. first Orlando and NOW superman? who else? The President? Spiderman? haha just kidding!

* The movie's special effect is awesome. Especially the plane part!

* At this point of time i know some of u may find this entry a lil dumb and not helpful at all. haha. But i'll still continue on........

* Like what estar said, the part where superman holds Lois Lane and carries her to the sky is all sooo ROMANTIC!

hmmm.....wasnt surprised they will do this kinda drastic measure to stop the smokers from smoking. after the price rise and fugly pics on packets.

people will start flouting the rules after several months especially after the hype has died down.

what im most pissed is cuz most of my friends smoke. and i smoke sometimes. so where the hell are we gonna find seats to eat if ppl already occupy the stupid small box?

are we really that bad that the government have to put a leash on us and command us to do what is right and what is wrong
