Magic Ice-Cream?! lol
This is the ice-cream that i've been consuming at the pasarmalam 3 times a day for a week. haha there goes the diet eh....but hey this ice-cream is really tiny...if u dun believe me go get one from any pasarmalam for only 80cents
i paid only 50cents and the rest is free...haha the uncle is soo nice always offering my workers and i free ice-creams. I cant refuse free stuffs cant i? hehe.....it helps when the weather is sweltering hot!
The many kinds of soft drinks that were put into this small tube and kept frozen with minuz zero degree of ice underneath it. My fav is Plum and mango. *Slurpps*..........

Many a times i thought of changing my digicam. It seems like soooo many brands are offering the market with higher pixels and many other features im nuts about. The prices are cheaper too...
Im still with my 3 year old Nikon Coolpix something-something. The 'Grandfather' of all digicams. Got it as a shared gift from the BF. Im still in love with it and its with me everywhere i go. Its my habit of taking stupid, blurred (because the cam is really lousy with sharpness etc) pictures that is of my everyday life.
Maybe instead of talking on and on abt wats going on with me, i think its much more fun if it's with visual aids.
So thats wat im gonna do from now on. Im becoming more lazy to type and i know my grammer is getting worse from every sentence and im too lazy to edit.

I had a heavy lunch today and im not guilty about it cuz it was alllllll worth it! Ate BEEF ribs from Cafe Cartel. Pricey $26. But so goooood to treat urself once in awhile.
Afterward the BF and me decided to be kaypoh like normal singaporeans and visit the newly open Vivocity. Wah that place is huge! Although most shops are not open, i reckon its a fierce competition for Suntec City and Marina Bay.
Paid GAP a visit. Famous in the US but i dun really fancy their tops. Very basic and u can get them anywhere..and very very pricey. I dun see whats the hype abt GAP. U can buy those tanks and t-shirts half the price from any brands like Giordano and Topshop/Zara.
Since i suddenly possessed a wad of cash...i dun see the reason why i shouldnt contribute to the economy....so i shop my socks off!!!
Which of cuz pisses the BF abit...haha...he's my paperbag carrier and i love him for doing it!!!! **muakz**

Yo for ur info BRO, im a size 10. Most in fact 99% of ladies shoe boutiques carry the largest size 9. BATA seems to be the only place that offers size 10. I know its farking sad so i rarely buy shoes.
But this open-toed metallic light gold with black trimming so totally took my breath away. Audrey Hepburn would be so proud. =)

Remember when i said im starting to breed my bettas?
well....spawning is a very tedious yet fruitful project. In total i have 7 gorgeous bettas. Haha yes thats a lot but there are pple who have dozens or even hundreds of them so im not THAT crazy k! haha...
Unfortunately only 3 is "mature" enough to start breeding. Sad. So this time im gonna "experiment" them. The prototype couple. Hahaha.......
The "LUCKY" two is.....................
Mr ROMEO. Yes thats his name. haha....why? Cuz he's a horny casanova....haha always have his eyes on the ladies....and....he's very very very handsome in real life....If he flares, his whole tail will be as big as half of his body. Simple beautiful!

From the pictures u can count like there's at least a few hundred bubble nests!!!! HE's damn horny lah and if this is succesful, chances are i will be getting a school of fishes....woohooo....and then i will sell them and earn my dues...hehe....
So will need to quarantine them like this for at least a week. Then once the female is ready, i will release her.

Survival of the thinnest
Is banning skinny models on the runway a real turning point in the size debate?
The dress, leggings and A-line mod styles may have made headlines at this year's international fashion weeks, but the real debate that raged off the runways was the size of the models.
The issue jumped into the limelight after organisers of Madrid Fashion Week banned models with a body mass index - a ratio of height to weight - of less than 18. That meant a model measuring 170 centimetres tall had to weigh at least 52 kilograms. Under such a ruling British supermodel Kate Moss would not be able to take part.
A factor driving the controversy was the death of 22-year-old South American model Luisel Ramos, who suffered a heart attack after stepping off a runway in August. She had been on a three-month diet of green leaves and diet Coke after being told she could be an international sensation - if she lost weight.
There was also a strong reaction to the models at New York Fashion Week, said Tim Gunn, who stars on pay TV's Project Runway and is chairman of the fashion design department at Parsons The New School for Design in New York. "Some of the girls caused you to gasp," he says. "When the knee joint is wider than the thigh, it can be scary."

The debate is intensifying amid concern that the use of spindly models sets unrealistic standards of beauty that encourage young people to crash-diet at the expense of their health. Milan mayor Letizia Moratti urged organisers behind Milan Fashion Week to follow Madrid's example.
The storm only abated after organisers confirmed plans to introduce a new skinny model policy next year. All models will need to present a doctor's certificate of good health before they will be allowed to walk at the autumn season shows in March, while under-age talent will have to be chaperoned.
The British Fashion Council, which organised London Fashion Week, cancelled its photo call after a barrage of criticism for refusing to follow the lead taken by Madrid and ban models under a certain size. A consortium of retailers said they would prohibit extremely thin models from participating in The Clothes Show Live in December, a major UK fashion event that has kicked off the careers of many famous models.
The debate gained high-profile support. Peaches Geldof, the 17-year-old daughter of Sir Bob Geldof and the late Paula Yates, told the British tabloids the issue was "disgusting".
"I think the whole fashion industry needs to wake up. It disgusts me," said Peaches, speaking after the Ben de Lisi show at London Fashion Week. "I've been strong enough to avoid [the pressure to be thin] because I think it's ridiculous, but for a lot of people, when they see a model going down the catwalk ... they think, 'Should I be like this?' - and it leads to disorders or bad body image and I think it's wrong."
The furore also caused a fashion-industry backlash. The Paris ready-to-wear shows kicked off this week with the French fashion industry's leading official saying he did not believe organisers should ban the use of models considered underweight.
Didier Grumbach, head of the Chambre Syndicale, the body that governs French fashion. says it is not the role of fashion to solve public health problems.
"I think it's a non-issue. You don't solve public health problems by regulating the size of models," he says. "You know, fashion is only the reflection of what is happening in society. It is not the cause."
France's health ministry recently announced it was setting up a working group on body image, with the aim of establishing a charter with advertisers banning the use of excessively thin models. Grumbach says he does not plan to take part in the government talks.
"I honestly think we are not responsible for health problems," he says. "Let the health ministry take care of health problems, and let fashion designers choose models according to their taste."
Stuart Rose, chief executive of Marks & Spencer and chairman of the British Fashion Council, says body mass index is only a guide. So long as a girl is exercising and eating right, her body mass index makes little difference.
Some fashion experts say the brouhaha over skinny models is much ado about nothing. "My feeling is that this is a media-generated rehash of an old story," says David Wolfe, creative director at the Doneger Group, a fashion trend consulting firm in New York. "The fact that one show in Madrid banned skinny girls is meaningless thus far." Wolfe says models in the 1950s were virtually the same size as models today, and that even Grace Kelly had a 50-centimetre waist on her wedding day.
In Australia, Sydney modelling agencies came out in support of the ban. Kathy Ward, the director of Chic in Woollahra, says the ban was a positive step.
"I think it's a great move," Ward says. "If girls are too skinny they're not going to get jobs. I'm supportive of what they're doing. It is a positive move for the industry and sets a very good example to the other fashion weeks around the world."Ward says such a move should be welcomed by the industry as a step towards fostering healthier body images for women.
"In Australia we have a healthier attitude towards body image in that the lifestyle it encourages is outdoor activity and a lot more positive," she says.Martin Walsh, the director of Chadwick Model Agency in Surry Hills, understands the Madrid ban but believes such a move is unnecessary in Australia. "The truth is the Australian market likes healthy-looking girls ... we never go for anyone that's too thin."
"We would recommend that they [thin models] tone up and would need to be of a certain size. But it's a very relative sort of thing. You can usually tell if someone looks their natural weight."-

Dilana is my favourite. Unfortunately she's a runnerup. Some punk got the job.
Dilana possesses such a raspy powerful voice that i ENVY!!! Her stage presence is strong and engaging. She's probably someone i could look up to in terms of performing. Oh how i could be like her. So bloody confident!

The time has come again. For me to scout a baju kurung. Sigh i really hate wearing that traditional costume honestly.
Firstly it doesnt fit me well.
Secondly, there's a stigma attached to it like i cant do this and that when i don the costume. I wld have to behave like a proper malay girl and be gentle and polite. No cussing. No smoking. No shouting. No kissing. NO GOOD!!!
Thirdly, i hate spending $50+++ every year to wear it for only max 4 hours!! It doesnt make sense ya? Rather buy ZARA or Topshop with that money.
Ya ya i know im not traditional. Sometimes i fast yes. Still i dun understand the hype of Hari Raya. Blame it on my mixed parentage. Its too confusing.
Anyway...........
Went Geylang to check out the bazaar with walter. Same old same old. Totally forgot that geylang pasar is under renovation so there were even lesser places to visit. Lame.
There's many foodstalls but i think they are comparable to the pasarmalams around spore. Super lame.
My dad rented a stall last year at geylang and he made a loss. $12 000 for a month. Lost every single cent and more. Yes there are a lot of pple who shop in Geylang HOWEVER there are MORE food stalls than these pple.
Simple economic calculation. Erm....that calculation lah abt too much producers and too little consumers bullshit. Haha totally forgot. I HATE MICROECONOMICS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
So we walk and walk and walk. Didnt buy anything. Probably going again to buy my baju kurung with my bro.
Going there again on the last day with parents. To buy the cheap leftover keropoks and kuehs! haha....
Now here's the fun part.............
Since Geylang Serai is such a bore, we decided to explore the sleazy "meat" market district. And also because food there are much yummier.
A little disappointed cuz i could only spot a few "meat" that lingers around the corner of shophouses. Stale "meat" somemore!! Yucks like how old are they???
There were even more MEN (of all races. Mostly chinese though. Wonder why??) who were slacking around.
Wah lao i felt like sooooo many eyes were staring at me. EEEWwwww gross gross gross..... I dun even wanna know what they were thinking....Walter just walk behind me and snigger. Chibai!!!!!Hero my ass ah!
Spotted a condom shop with its name, "RA21". Original.
Finally found the tauhuey shop. Famous for its...duh...tauhuey lah.

Finally found the tauhuey shop. Famous for its...duh...tauhuey lah.
Actually its kinda pricey this place. $1.50 for a plate of tauhuey when i can get it normally for only 50cents.
Best healthy food!!! Great for breakfast or a midnight snack....
Whatever the BF eats, it always look sooo darn good.....

$80 required for a new passport!?!?!?!
Hell that totally puts me off travelling! soo ex....too ex.....
money is such an issue now....cuz of school and all....sometimes i think whether this kinda frivolous expenses is worth it....cuz i really dun wanna regret it one day like spending a chunk off my savings...especially when it is meant for sch.....
i did my calculations....i am expected to part at least S$4o0 for this trip....2 person already ard S$700.....come to think about it, its a hefty sum huh? Especially bad when the BF is in NS and obviously broke too....
like worse i owe him $150.....my mum $100...estar a puny $24...haha...but hey they are still on credit k!!!!
Add them all together....i need $1k!!! Like how to get $1k in just one month??? haha a bit ridiculous huh!!! haha....
maybe im too far-fetched. Always aiming for something i can never grasp. Like going on a holiday i cannot afford. So proud . Im awake now and facing the reality of my financial situation. And of course i dun wanna drag the BF down too because of my WANTS!!!
A holiday is meant to be happy right? Then why do i feel so stress???
Maybe its not the time yet. I really think its not the time yet.
Oh how i yearn for a holiday..........i really do miss the air outside Singapore.
I will not put down my wishes of seeing the world just because im poor. I will work hard in the future. The world is too big to be cooped up in this tiny island.
World im gonna conquer u the next time!!!! Whatever it takes.
Right now i will just sit at one corner, suck my thumb... and cry at my misery.
Till then....thats all.....

Oh great i've been selected as a Host for the Singapore Fashion Week. How lucky!
Now here's a problem.......
ITS THE SAME WEEK AS MY GENTING GETAWAY!!!!!

Weeeeeee.....Zan has overthrowned (ok do i spell it correctly?) the Punk Master. Wah estar thought he can get away easy from his 21st Bday? Not a chance dude!So Deb, Haddad and me thought of a grand masterplan to punk the king himself! And boy was it all worth it!!!

Achievements aside....it was great seeing Deb n Ddad after such a long time.....last we saw each other was at Zouk right? Realized it is so hard to catch up with friends when everyone is going their separate ways, doing their own things. However meetings like this is much appreciated. We have like tons still to bitch about!
